Having served on the Joint Finance and Appropriations Committee (JFAC), Steve believes that school districts and parents are best suited to design an effective education plan for their students with the resources that are available. He believes in accountability in education so Idaho students are competitive in the workforce and successful in higher education.

Opportunity Fund

Idaho’s economy is among the best in the nation. We must continue to work for minimal regulation, lower taxes, effective transportation and a competitive marketplace, while providing an educated workforce. Steve supported the Opportunity Fund and Work Force Development to bring new and expand existing businesses in Idaho.
