Idaho’s economy is among the best in the nation. We must continue to work for minimal regulation, lower taxes, effective transportation and a competitive marketplace, while providing an educated workforce. Steve supported the Opportunity Fund and Work Force Development to bring new and expand existing businesses in Idaho.

Funding for Ag Research

Agriculture is a major part of Idaho’s economy, heritage and quality of life. Steve has steadfastly promoted and protected Idaho agriculture, including funding for Ag Research, the Rangeland Center, the Potato Nuclear Seed Center and Dairy Research Center (CAFE).
